Anne M. (Schwenderman) Fritcher, 86, of North Syracuse passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from St. Anthony of Padua High School. In her younger years, she worked for Bell Telephone and was a waitress at the NCO Club. In 1953, she married the love of her life, Richard, who was a member of the U.S. Air Force. They traveled for 20 years-living in Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Japan (Okinawa), and Colorado. They made their way back home to New York where Richard retired. Anne was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who always put others needs before her own. Anne loved listening to music while singing and dancing and was always the life of the party. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, collecting family photos, telling stories and making people laugh. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Norman Schwenderman and Julia O'Brien Schwenderman; her siblings, Mary, Judy and Norman; her son, Richard Jr. in 2007 and her loving husband, Richard L. Sr. of 63 years in 2016. Surviving are her daughters, Coleen (Roger) Dembowski, Patricia (Jeff) Kingsley, Sharon (Frank Russell) Fritcher and Lynda (Tom) Myslivecek; grandchildren, Marsha, Jennifer, Andrea, Julie, Shayne, Bekka, Jacob, Brandyn, Allysyn and Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Ava and Marcus; siblings, Betty Wise, Joseph and John Schwenderman; nieces, nephews and special friends, Molly and Ebony. Calling hours will be Monday, February 15 from 6 to 8 pm at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main St., North Syracuse. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Church 409 South Main Street, North Syracuse with burial following in Assumption Cemetery.
