Beverly M. (Thomas) Bacon, just short of her 90th birthday, passed away at her North Syracuse home on Friday, February 4, 2022. Born in Wampsville, to the late James and Marion (Walker) Thomas, she was the last surviving of her siblings, Archie, Audrey, James, Kenneth, Muriel and Pauline. She was a long time member of Andrews Memorial United Methodist Church (now Faith Journey). She was a leader of the Junior Auxiliary of the North Syracuse American Legion Post. In 1993, she retired from the North Syracuse Central School District after 23 years of service, beginning at Roxboro Road Middle School and lastly at Smith Road Elementary School. Predeceased by her husband, “Eddie” (Albert E.) Bacon, on November 27, 2003, she is survived by their children, Mark (Cynthia) Bacon and Cindy (Jeffrey) Renk; grandchildren, Jessica (Ang Reap) Bacon, Kyle (BethAnn Mauer) Bacon, Alyssa (Joseph) Landry, Justin Renk and Matthew Renk; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her dear, loving family from Minetto. The family will greet friends and family on Saturday, March 5th at Faith Journey United Methodist Church, 8396 Morgan Road, Clay (Euclid) from 9 to 10 am followed by services and burial in North Syracuse Cemetery. Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Faith Journey UMC, 8396 Morgan Road, Clay, NY 13041-9614.
