Elizabeth C. Zampini September 25, 2020 Elizabeth C. "Betty" Zampini, 84, of Cicero passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Elmira to the late James H. and Mary (Mannix) Coughlin, she graduated from Solvay High School. Employed in education, Betty was an administrative assistant for Assumption High School, Maria Regina College and OCM BOCES. Formerly of Christ the King Church, Liverpool, Betty was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima, North Syracuse, for the last fourteen years. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Joseph in 2009, she is survived by her children, James (Lisa) Zampini, Mary (Mark) Bailey, Alisa Zampini, Debra (Bruce) Warwick; grandchildren, Victoria (Derek) Lederle, Adriana (John) Waldon, Veronica (Ryan) Argy, Dominic, James, Katerina Zampini, Christopher (Sarah) Houston, Rebecca (Chris) Fratini, Alexander, Joseph, and Jacob Warwick; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Mary Bruzdzinski; brother, Daniel (Fran) Coughlin; sister-in-law, Deanna Zampini and many nieces and nephews. Betty will always be remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, humility, and deep devotion to her family and faith. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 4th, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 5th at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 South Main Street, North Syracuse with burial following in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Moyers Corners.
