Norma J. (Haynes) Kimball, 86, of Cicero, passed away at her home on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Syracuse, to the late Paul and Edna (Renz) Haynes, she was one of fourteen children. After over 30 years of service, she retired from BEC Electric. Norma was a creative person; decorating, crocheting and knitting. She was a Riverside Golf Course league member for many years. She enjoyed her pug, “Beasel”, exploring the covered bridges of Vermont, boating, and traveling, especially the Caribbean islands on cruises. Most importantly, she was family oriented, never missing a family function. She was always there for her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Horace H. Kimball, on October 4, 1991, and by her siblings, Otto Haynes, Pauline Eisenger, Rosemary Misco, Lyger Haynes, Evelyn Wood, Joyce Russell, Reba Brislin, and Ruth Skellington, she is survived by her siblings, Betty Waterbury, David Haynes, Beverly (John) Wright, Virginia (Donald) Wolff and Linda Haynes; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Masks are required for all services. Calling hours will be Friday, February 11th from 5 to 7 pm at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse. Services will be at 10 am on Saturday, February 11th at the funeral home followed by burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088-3148.
