Roberta J. (Barr) Kesselring, 89, a long time resident of Manlius and recently of Baldwinsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Born in Syracuse to the late Robert and Kate (Bunnell) Barr, she graduated from North High School and attended CCBI. She retired from the Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District after 25 years. Roberta was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Manlius. She enjoyed many summers at her cottage near Henderson Harbor on Lake Ontario. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George, in 2004, grandson, Michael Smith in 1979 and brother, Edward, in 2003, she is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Robert) Smith and Susan (Ty) Stauder; sister, Kathleen (Erik) Hauge; grandchildren, Marie (Brian) Brzuszkiewicz, Eileen Smith, Michael (Ashley) Stauder, Paul (Sonya) Stauder; six great grandsons and a great granddaughter. On Friday, June 10, 2022 calling hours will be from 10 am until services at 12 noon at Fergerson Funeral Home, North Syracuse, with entombment following in St. Mary's Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt. Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the American Heart Association, POB 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
