Ruth G. D. Luffman

Ruth Gene (Dattler) Luffman, 92, of Cicero, passed away on Thursday, April 28. Born in Syracuse to the late Stanley and Inez (Crossett) Dattler, she was a 1947 graduate of Jordan Academy and Free School and a 1951 graduate of Crouse-Irving Hospital School of Nursing. She lived and worked locally as a pediatric nurse. Always considered humorous and 'nice', she was truthful to a fault, simply a person who cared. Predeceased by her husband, Richard Lee Luffmann, her son, Richard and brother, Robert, she is survived by her sons, Wade (Debra) and Eric (Joanne) Luffman and her brother, Raymond Dattler. She had six grandchildren and has nine great grandchildren. Private burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers or donations, do something nice for yourself.
