Sharon Myslivecek

Celebrating the Life of Sharon D. Myslivecek 1947 – 2026 Sharon D. Myslivecek, 78, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, artistic beauty, and a family that was her entire world. Born in Syracuse to William Burns and Jeanette Phelix, Sharon was a woman of grace who found fulfillment in both her career and her many passions. Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her reliability and her sharp mind. She served as the dedicated secretary for Orsino Plumbing, where her organizational spirit kept things moving, and spent many years as a familiar, helpful presence while clerking for Sears Department Stores. But Sharon was much more than her work; she was a creator at heart. As an active member of the Stubby Club of the Pastime Athletic Association, she expressed her spirit through painting delicate ceramics and decorating amazing cakes. She poured her soul into everything she touched. She was a woman of the outdoors as well, carrying a passion for hunting and fishing that began on her honeymoon and stayed with her for a lifetime. Though she took pride in her work, Sharon’s heart belonged to her home. She loved the simple peace of listening to country music on the kitchen radio and watching the wild birds at her feeder with a fresh cup of coffee. A Heavenly Reunion She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Thomas F. Myslivecek, Sr., who passed in 1990; her stepdaughter, Deborah M. Myslivecek; and her sisters, Kathy Reagan, Jan Whitton, Donna Burns, and Betsy O’ Donnell. Waiting for her, too, are the fur babies she cherished with all her heart. We find comfort knowing she is once again in the company of Precious, Bear, Taichi, and Puddy, along with her beloved grand-furs, Thor and Charlie, who all passed before her. Her Everlasting Legacy Sharon is survived by her greatest blessings, her children: Tammy Reynolds, Karen (Joseph) Guardino, Kelly (Brian) Frank, and Thomas F. (Lynda) Myslivecek, Jr., as well as her stepdaughter, Susan (Doug) Moss. She remains in the hearts of her siblings: Patricia Reagan, Susan Reagan, Sally (Phil) La Brake, and Billy Burns. Her love lives on through her grandchildren: Gianna (Anthony) Felton, Luke Reynolds, Amber Van Wagenen, Ciarra Van Wagenen, Skye Van Wagenen, Shayne (Lily) Whitney, and Cassidy Myslivecek; her step-grandchildren: Valerie and Zachery; and her adored great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Aylah, Aria, Roman, Teagan, Colson, and Fallon. Sharon also leaves behind her cherished grand-furs, Sasha, Sadie, Millie, Ellie, and JoJo, as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Service Information Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Fergerson Funeral Home (215 South Main Street, North Syracuse). A service will follow at noon, with Sharon being laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery in DeWitt.
